Welcome
We would be honored to meet you! And we would love to see you at our next worship service. The people that make up College Avenue Baptist Church are some of the friendliest folks in West Texas. Here are a few things we'd like you to know as you prepare to make a visit:
We know that visiting a new church can be intimidating. But our people are ready to welcome you the moment you walk through the first door. Listen, no one is perfect, and neither are we! It's okay to not be okay. We're a group of sinners who have been redeemed by the grace of God - and we're hoping that we can help you find that very same grace. We'll do as much as we can to make you feel AT HOME. In fact, you'll see that language on the wall of our Welcome Center. Be sure to stop by and grab some information about our church, fill out a visitor's card, or just meet a friendly face.

When We Meet
We meet at 11:00am every Sunday after our Connect Group hour (Sunday School).
Our campus is located at 213 N. College Ave in Levelland, TX. We are just North of Highway 114. If you find the Slim Chicken's on the corner of HW-114 and College Ave, just look a hundred or so yards North - You can't miss us! ** Parking is located on the South & North sides of our building.**

Childcare
We have a nursery which is under the direction of Mrs. Betty Kemp. She is just the sweetest and you're kiddos will be in good hands. Mrs. Betty works with a small group of other ladies who volunteer to help her in the nursery. We provide childcare during both hours
(9:45am Connect Groups & 11:00am Worship)
**All of our children's ministry volunteers go through a bi-annual training
that helps protect our little ones from any dangers.**

What To Expect
Come as you are! Feel free to come dressed up or dress comfortable casual. Our folks wear everything from a suit and tie to a pair of khakis (or jeans) and a shirt. We believe that what is most important is that you just come and worship with us. Our worship service is usually an hour to an hour and 15 minutes in length (at the most).
Our worship gatherings are designed with the family in mind. We believe the family should worship together - Sing praises to God together - Hear the Word of God preached together - Grow in the Lord together. We provide 2 variations of children's notes each Sunday. This hopefully helps your children feel included and it gives them something to work through as the sermon is being preached. Pastor Tony believes that children should learn the importance of corporate worship at an early age. We desire to help parents towards that goal.
We begin our service with a welcome, we read a passage of Scripture, then we sing songs together that glorify Jesus. Then our pastor will preach a message from the Bible. His particular style of preaching is verse by verse, expositional preaching of the Scriptures. The sermons are filled with truth, hope, and encouragement. Here at CABC, we love the Word of God! We unashamedly do not shy away from the truth that is found in it.
